Executive Officer Tomcat Squadron

Sea Cadet Experience:
ENS Parker has been a Sea Cadet parent since 2014. Her two oldest sons participate in the program, one of which graduated as the LPO of the Squadron before becoming a midshipman with the Training Ship. He is now currently enlisted in the NAVY. Ens. Parker started out her service in the Tomcats as an Auxiliary parent, helping out where needed and working on the Fundraising Team. In 2017 she became the Operations Officer of the Tomcat Squadron. In 2019 she received her promotion to Ensign and served as Escort Officer at Flagship. Also in 2019, she moved from the Operations Officer, to Training Officer position to have more direct involvement with our cadets. This move has had a positive impact on both the cadets as well as Ens. Parker. In 2021 she became the Tomcat Squadron's Executive Officer.

Civilian Experience:
ENS Parker has worked in the medical field for over 20 years and achieved her Master's Degree in Health Administration from Central Michigan University. She has held management and executive level positions at Henry Ford Health and Beaumont Health Systems. In an incredible leap of faith, ENS Parker put family first and sought a career that allowed a much improved work-life balance so that she could spend more quality time with her three sons. ENS Parker now home-schools her youngest son while being a very successful Realtor with RE/MAX First. She is a member of the National Board of Realtor, Michigan Board of Realtor, and the recipient of the Service of Excellence Award for the last three years. ENS Parker is also a Certified Military Relocation Specialist and has helped many Sea Cadet families make a move.
